For customers traveling with kids in First Class, Family Rooms span the width of the car with ample space for two adults and two children (aged 2 - 12) and feature: Seating for four by day transformed two upper and two lower beds by night. Other mail and packages will be refused or returned to the sender when possible. Only forwardable mail sent via the USPS will be sent on to students studying remotely. If you must stuff boxes, please email a request to and we will work with you to schedule a time that keeps the mailroom under occupancy limits. Groups and offices are discouraged from using boxes to distribute all-campus mailings during the 2020-2021 school year please find other ways to communicate with students. Stamp sales and other mail services are available at the mailroom window. Who Can Use the Room: The Ronald McDonald Family Room is for all families with patients in the IWK Health Centre. Window service is available 10:00 am to 4:00 pm weekdays during the school year. Hours: Open every day from 9:00am-9:00pm. Please wait for our message with the subject "the BMC mailroom has received a package for you." (Do not rely on messages sent by Amazon and other online sellers.) When packages arrive for students, we send an email as soon as they have been processed and are ready for pickup. Letter mail and magazines are placed into mailboxes. Mail and packages are usually sorted and ready for pickup within one business day. Your box assignment does not change while you remain a BMC student. Please do not use the Stony Brook University Main Campus Address (100 Nichols Rd, Stony Brook NY 11794) as a delivery address, as this may result in lost or misdirected mail. Your package can be shipped securely by either UPS or Postal Service. Remote students will receive box assignments when they switch to in-person. We can create custom boxes and package practically anything you can name. Boxes have been assigned to all new students who are coming to campus. New students can find their box assignment in BIONIC.
